Reading is Fun

I found a neat site that allows you to read some of the classic books in short email snippets. It's called Daily Lit and after searching by author, title or genre you're presented with a list of books. Beside each title is the number of emails the book will require to complete.

You can set the time you'd like to receive your email (I accepted the 7:10 a.m. default) and am reading Charles Dickens Holiday Romance, a short story I am unfamiliar with. I've read A Christmas Carol, Great Expectations, Oliver Twist and A Tale of Two Cities, so it's exciting for me to read a work I'd never heard of.

Only titles in the public domain are available, but if you've never read Moby Dick or The Count of Monte Cristo or works by Edgar Allen Poe now is your chance. They'll arrive in byte size snippets of three to four paragraphs Monday thru Friday and each morning is like an opening a gift!

Yeah, Daily Lit is great. I'm going through Heart of Darkness right now.
