Every year the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power sponsors the Festival of Lights at Griffith Park in Los Angeles, California. Hundreds of people will drive through the park and observe beautiful decorations of all sizes, shapes, colors and variety of lights.
We arrived early after dining at a nearby restaurant and didn't have a long wait to enter or drive through. We made an attempt the previous weekend but the exit lane on the freeway was backed up for at least two miles. The rain began just as we neared the end and we had a blast feasting our eyes on the wonderful decorations.

There's a Festival of Lights in Wheeling WV in Oglebay Park. I'd unfortunately be the one stuck driving so I'd never get to take any pictures. Which is one of the reasons why I haven't been there in ages.
