One Last Thought....

Tomorrow's my first day back at work and well, I'm just a little nervous. I meet the new employee and I'm supposed to train her. So much misinformation and smack has been spread about her that thinking positive and remaining open minded has been a challenge at times. I'm praying that the day passes smoothly and that I'm not deluged with complaints and "I told you sos" from co-workers who worked with her today. My reluctance to join the lynch mob has left me out of favor with my co-workers and I feel that some would love nothing more than saying "See, you were wrong!"

I'll take it slow and focus on basic stuff. I'll lay the foundation first of attention to detail and build on that. If she's not meticulous and detail oriented, we could lose a lot of very important records that could become quite costly to my company if we don't produce them during litigation. Many of the records we're in charge of our mandated by law and have severe consequences if we're non-compliant. Okay, I'm off to bed. Wish me luck.
