Random Questions; Random Days

This is "Pets are Wonderful Month!" What's the best, or most remembered pet you had? That would have to be Spuds. Spuds was a regular cat - I've never been one for pedigree cats - and he had the most regal stature. One immediately knew he was THE man!

Spuds also had a penchant for hair mousse and sitting/lying on one's head. He would lie on my head for HOURS and in the heat of summer, cause me to perspire and writh to get out from under him. As soon as I would, he'd relocate and situate himself where he pleased...back atop my head!

He was a large cat with a tiny meow. To see him, one would expect a snarling meow and venemous hiss. Spuds was the gentlest cat I've had the pleasure of knowing. He was playful and smart. Always alert and ever at the ready to play. He died on August 10, 1992.
