The Carpenters' Christmas album

There's one CD that I love to listen to each Christmas but find most people do not like. They say it's too slow, makes them feel sad, is too depressing or puts them to sleep.

That one special CD is The Carpenters' (as in Karen & Richard Carpenter, the brother and sister duo from Southern California) Christmas Portrait. More than any other Christmas CD in my collection this is my most treasured.
