Is one of the most popular iconic images in Latino establishments and homes, which I find interesting because the Bible says we should not make icons of religious symbols.

Catholics have La Virgen displayed on tapestries, tiles, candles, wood plaques, outdoor murals, water fountains, coffee mugs, bath towels, t-shirts and the list goes on.

Who would believe La Virgen would become mass merchandised?
