Life
Today was very much a kick back day. Buddah had his first vet appointment in eight months and was very displeased. No surprise there. We thought his back was giving out on him again or his arthritis had flared up, but it's constipation. Yea, furry folk are very much like humans. LOL Other than the drama of getting him to and from the vet and groveling the rest of the afternoon, it's been good.
I know I mentioned that we have a new neighbor. Well, God bless her driving skills, she can't drive worth a damn! Exiting her garage is her biggest challenge. We've heard from two other neighbors that our car has almost been struck by the Newbie three times. Punky has helped the Newbie back out of her garage twice, because she thought our car would be creamed otherwise!
Newbie's very good natured and finds humor in her lack of driving skill. Even her daughter's told her, "Mommy, you can't drive. I'll drive." and Newbie laughed when she shared this story. Comedienne Margaret Cho has always alluded to Asian drivers being "peripherally challenged". Perhaps, this is Newbie's dilemma. Either way, each and every weekend morning is a challenge and comedy of errors for Newbie and a "hold our breath" moment for us.
